This is a great time to visit, with mild weather, greening hills and fewer people in the Park. Snow is in Giant Forest at present, wonderful for cross-country skiing and sipping hot chocolate. You may need chains drive up to the higher elevation. Best place to rent chains in Three Rivers is at the Chevron gas station.
I have always known the cottage stays open for the persons meant to come at a certain time. Make that call. Make your reservation soon.

$150 per night for 2 people for stays of 5 nights or more

(10% County bed tax will be added)
Two night minimum stay required,
three night minimum on holiday weekends,
three night minimum at Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's for 2009.
One night reservations are generally not accepted,
except for special requests, $35 added charge for one night stays.
Check in is any time after 4pm (please do not come earlier.)
Check out is 12 noon (can be extended if no one is coming that day.)
Smoking is discouraged and permitted on outside
deck only.
No pets are accepted.
The cottage has 2 beds, a queen bed and a fold down futon couch, and
essentially sleeps four people; it can accommodate 2 adults and 3 children.

The Cottage is located one mile off Highway 198, at 44141 Skyline
Drive.
Cancellation Policy
Please read carefully so you will be fully informed.
Half of total reservation is required for a deposit on
VISA, MC or Discover. The second half will be charged to your credit seven
days in advance of your arrival date. No refund or credit will apply if you cancel on or after seven days
in advance. If you cancel before seven days in advance,
then your deposit will be applied as a credit for another reservation
time which must be used within six months of the date of your cancellation. Only one re-scheduling is allowed
per deposit hold. Deposit credit cannot be used for any holidays periods.
